Frank,

Couldn't help but notice this one is a short drive for you. Wouldn't it be nice to have a sibling for that 70? ha, ha!!

Hey Frank,
Just buy the wife a new car and take her to dinner (With flowers), - - - Then show up the next day with the tractor, may work or may get you killed, but worth a shot. LOL

I'm glad my wife doesn't read this board...you guys would get me in trouble bigtime!

That's what happens when you get a reputation for fixing up "parts tractors"!

Still, it is in Florida, says it doesn't leak, has a spare wheel, couple of hours away..... .....

Go for it Frank. If you're too bashfull to bid, just give us your Ebay password and we'll take from there. You'll soon be owner of another priceless gem. :) Actually if it was in Ohio and the price was right, I'd be tempted. Probably a good thing it's too far away.

Let's see... Dave's got a '50- Frank's got a '70.
The math says a '60 is half way in between .
I'd say it could fit in either garage.....
Frank's or Dave's.

Looks like a Frank project to me but if you want it Dave I can get it to Ohio for you-for a small fee of course.

Dave:

I'm just so spoiled by power steering, I'm not sure I could turn the wheel on that one. I'm getting kind of aanxious that I'll be able to spint the wheel on this little VAC!

People pay big bucks for the upper body aerobic sessions you're getting for free with that steering wheel. Consider yourself blessed.

Steve:

I put a lot of hours in on our '48 "A", with front mounted cultivators, and it was then that I finally appresciated why my dad enjoyed the '70' power steering so much.

I can only imagine what it was like to muscle one with a picker or worse yet a loader. I know one key was to keep the tires pumped up to the high limit!

You'd better start exercising now. Our VAC steers very hard. The knuckle buster is almost useless (can't steer very easy with one hand!).
