Hello: I have a 49 B and asked the same question about 3 years ago on several bulletin boards. The following was what I was told. #5 mower, 101 corn picker, 594 or 594 lw rake, plows #52,4,44,953 wagon, 200 cultivators, 290 corn planter. I just bought a l4 T baler which is alittle newer than l949 and a RW disc again alittle newer. I hope this helps you out. If you have any more questions , I would be glad to try and answer them by email. Drew s/w WI.

Drew,

I would agree with you on all those items, having used most of them with our '52 'B'. The 14-T baler makes a great matchup for the 'B'. We ran ours with both our '49 'A' and the '52 'B'. Although the B was less horsepower, the faster engine speed (1250 rpm vs. 975 rpm) made it a really good baler tractor.

The 101 semi-mounted picker is an ideal one for the 'B'. The # 52 plow is a little obsolete (no hydraulics) but the 44 is perfect. The # 5 mower is just pure fun to clip pastures or wheat stubble - easy to steer, wind that sucker up in 4th gear, lock that right brake on the corners and slide 'er on around - heckuvalota fun but don't let your dad see you!!!

Where you from in SW WI? My '41 'B' came out of Platteville.

Stan
