Hello gentlemen,
I found a 70LP sitting in an old farmyard back on a country road today. On first glance it looks in ok shape, one front wheel missing. Rusty, but not bad. What range am I looking at as far as this tractor. I want to stop in and talk to the owner, but I want to know what to tell him if he says 'make me an offer'. I'm used to the small 2-cylinders (A, B, H etc). Is a 70LP a nice tractor to be playing with or am I over my head with this thing? I know very little about the 70LP's. Thanks for any response.

Hard to picture with such little info. It could cost several thousands to restore. No telling why it was parked.
If it sat very long, it's probably stuck. My opinion, but I think LP's stick faster than diesels or gas models.
