I took mine out and took it to our local JD dealer and he only charge me 40.00 to take it apart and put it back together again. The parts were what really cost, you might want to get a price for the complete job. Now this was 3 yrs ago when I did it. My 2 pennies worth.

Nothing beats factory pictures & instructions. I & T manuals are cheap & cover many tractors but are sketchy on vital details. Either this site or Deere has operator, service, electrical & parts manuals at 1-800-522-7448.They will pay back many times over. Best to purchase the entire clutch set & not just end few with the most wear. The old ones will soon crumble when mixed with tougher new ones. Make sure transmission 140 weight isn't seeping into the pto. Even a new clutch will slip with oil other than wet clutch lube in it.
