Not sure about price. Know they were a good mower and a lot still in use for cleanup and so on out here anyway. Since they would fit on a standard 3 point a lot of guys used them on other makes of tractors. good luck on the fixup project
I have a number 8W mower which was similar except it has a wheel, in fact the parts book I have covers #8, 9, 8W and 9w. The W ones were set up so row croppers didn't ahve to move the tires in to use them.

I just bought a 9W and paid $275. It had been stored inside and looked good. After I started servicing it I realized there was no oil in the gear box and everything was pretty rusty inside. I'm replacing all the bearings. That cost me $70 from a bearing dealer. I would not have paid that much if I had known what it looked like inside. Sickle bar mowers are getting hard to find around here and I looked quite a while before I found this one. Most everyone uses a disc mower these days including me. I'm going to use the 9W to cut ditches.
