6030 with V-8??

I was driven around this weekend and saw a very wild looking JD. I think it was a 6030? This tractor had a V-8 in it with two BIG mufflers sticking out. It was not a pulling tractor because you could tell that it still does some farming. Is this some kind of conversion or is this stalk? Any one ever see one?

You think thats cool , wait till you run across that 5020 retrofitted w/ a v-12 diesel. It was impressive to look at at but got smoked by 2 6030's w/ hot 619's. I heard that 5020 was sold into Indianna and he is currently building a 6030 and looking for revenge.

It was probably a Detroit Diesel V8. Kinze Manufacturing did this re-power conversion on 5020 and 6030 tractors.
