It's me again! I would like to know if there is any good sites in Minnesota for a JD enthusiast to visits such as shows or salvage yards. I enjoy any old tractors and machinery.

Thank you,
BC

Just got the info on what is billed as the "Greater Minnesota Two-Cylinder Field Days & Swap Meet" Not sure how long it runs but Saturday May 5 was in the ad I seen requesting consignments. Also a good place to visit for hot air engines, antique tractor's and a good time is the "Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers, Inc" site just north of Lake Itasca. Should be the third weekend in August. I take my family and spend a few days there every year. Sort of a mini Rolagg with out so many people but lots of equipment and tractors.

The Western Minnesota Steam Thresher's Reunion (WMSTR) at Rollag is always good. There are more gas engines and tractors than steam units, and lots of machinery and antique items. This is spread over about 400 acres, with it's own historical town and steam locomotive. This is held over four days, the Friday - Monday ending with Labor Day, kind of like the MN State Fair. There is a different theme each year. 1999 was a Massey-Harris year, 2000 was for items more than 100 years old, and 2001 will be for homemade equipment. There are also lots of JDs. Also three sawmills, a tractor pull, tugboat(yes, there is a lake), steam shovel, and a natural gas main pipeline compressor engine (The Snow Engine - 600 HP, 18ft flywheel, awesome). You can do a search and find their website. The club has over 2200 members, and they do it up right.

I don't where Llloyd Belin (sp?) is located but I understand he like visitors. He is the one who bought the 620 Hi Crop at the Moline auction last fall.

Interesting, but I don't think it's true.
Is there a Lloyd Belin Jr? I'm pretty sure that Lloyd Belin (Sr., if there is a Jr.) passed away a few years ago.

He's in Isanti, MN, which is about 20-30 miles north on Hwy 65 from the Twin Cities.
