4020 won't go into 7 and 8 gear

I have a 4020 all the gears work just fine except 7 and 8th gear all of a sudden I can't get it into those two gears thanks in advance

I'm assuming yours is a Syncro-Range transmission (Full sized clutch petal, 2 reverse speeds.)

First check the mechanical linkage between the lever and the tranny. You might try operating the levers at the tranny by hand (while the engine's dead, of course). Make sure these levers are tight and properly positioned on their shafts. If everything's in good shape there, you probably have wear on the shifter cams/cam followers inside the housing.
