Hi - Just to save me a trip tomorrow with the tape measure, does anyone have the dimensions for a styled D ? I need to know if it's going to fit my trailer as is or if some work has to be done before the trip. Need rear wheel outside, front wheel outside, and overall length. Hope to make it look and work a lot better than it is now. Also someone will know this - how it needs to sit over the tandem axle for reasonable balance with about 5-600 lbs on the truck. Thanks for any help, Ron

Unfortunately my D is 90 miles away hiding in a machine shed from this weather. My owners manual gives the following: Overall length 130.5", overall width = 70" on 14x30 tires. Nothing on the width at the front. Actually the 70" seems narrow to me. From my youth I seem to remember 30% front, 70% on the rears for the weight distribution, but suspect that might be for the tricycle models. Seems like a reasonable guess. You might hook up the trailer and measure the height, then have a couple of football tackles climb on and measure again. Shipping Weight 5662 lbs with no weights or fluid but cast wheels. I think the wheels for those with turning brakes were heavier.
I might be visiting my brother tomorrow. If you need more information give a whistle.
