I have been interested in buying a JD H and I have found a couple within driving distance of my house. I have also found another fellow with cultivators and a mounted plow for the H (I have not investigated whether these implements came from an H with or without hydraulics, and I'm not sure the Seller knows anyway). Of the tractors I am looking at, one has a power lift and the other does not.

My question is, will the cultivators and the plow work on either H? Or is there a big difference between the implements made for tractors with power lift, versus those made for tractors without power lift?

Thanks in advance.

JC, the predominant difference between using the hydraulic cylinder for lifting or manual lifting will be that both the plow and the cultivator will have a long lift lever with two springs and a pivot toward the top, with a mounting bracket that mounts on the right hand axle housing. If neither implement has this, then they likely are set up for hydraulic lift. Hope this helps. Mike
