Cost on 1520 JD and H.P.?

Is $6,000 a good price for a 1520?(real good shape,3960hrs) and does it have enough H.P. to bail hay. Square bails around 13 acres, mostly flat ground

Hi. I paid $8000 for my JD1520 with a loader about 3 years ago and I am still happy I bought it.

thanks Charlie. I am going up to get the tractor today. I will have to find a loader at some point in the future. Do you think I can find one for $2,000?

yes it will...gas has about 48 hp.. diesel 47 hp..weights about 4400... made from 68 to 73 has 2 stage clutch...8 forwards 4 reverse
