Am am considering both and would like some general response on good and bad points. I need a tractor to pull 3-16"s, 10' transport disk, 4-row planter. Which one would be better? And what do good 2020 diesels bring? I saw a 2510 posted for $5,500 I think. Thanks in advance!

The 2510 is a row crop tractor intended for field work such as tillage, planting and cultivating within it's power capacity. It is fast becoming a desireable collector tractor. The 2020 with the same engine is a utility tractor, ideal for loader work, but with a low profile, making some field work unsuitable for it. Ground clearance will be less, and it has the two stick tranny which is more awkward to use. I also think Dubuque tractors are not nearly the tractor that Waterloo tractors are. Get the 2510. I would prefer the 2510 also. The engines are the same, but I prefer a Waterloo tractor to a Dubuque tractor. Nothing wrong with a 2020, but a 2510 will be a more "deluxe" tractor, and will more than likely even cost less. My humble opinion. Mike

Just my opinion but the 2510 would be by far a better choice. Again, jusr my opinion. Please refrain from gunfire!
