I have a 4020 powershift. Suddenly it stopped moving. It won't move forward or backward, and the pto doesnt work either. It carries good transmission oil pressure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mine did the same thing, it was the tow lever on the platform.

could be the damper disc on the flywheel ('dry clutch')came apart. it can still rotate the transmission pump enough to create pressure but not enough to transfer load. sometimes the clutch shaft brakes and create the same simptom.

Tom,

I also have a 4020 powershift, but I've never had that happen. Did someone accidently pull the transmission disconnect lever on the left side of the cowl back? I know I've disconnected mine when starting in cold weather and then forgot to engage it back in. Also, could someone have bumbed the 'tow' lever on the floor just to the left of the seat base? Just a couple of things you might check. I know they sound 'simple' but sometimes it's something really easy and easy to overlook, especially if it gets bumped or if soimeone else was on the tractor and moved it by accident.

There's a lever on the left side of the tranny
below the battery box that throws the tranny
and hydraulic out of gear on a powershift.Seen
guys do this on an auction to buy a tractor cheaper.
