Hi there,

I am getting back to my roots and have began to pick up a few antique tractors, JD of course. I have been around enough to know that not everyone is honest and the last thing I need to do is be nieve. I am wanting to know some addresses and phone numbers of John Deere parts suppliers that have a good reputation and those whom I can trust. I am on here asking opinions of those who have been doing this because it takes a lifetime to build a reputation, however, it only takes 5 mintues to ruin it. I would greatly appreciate you help and I thank you all.

I suggest you try John Boehm. I have purchased a lot of parts from him and have found him to be honest and reliable. His website is: [email protected]

Sharp's are good on used parts. For new parts go to your JD dealer.

Denglers for new/used parts is good
Martin Bros Impl. is good for NOS parts
Agtique won't respond to inquiries.
Polk is expensive, but it is a hobby right?
Your local dealer, if you don't bother them during busy seasons or just use them to look up PN's. (It helps if you have your own parts manual, or know what you are talking about.)
Choose one place to purchase used parts and one place to purchase new and it will work out better in the long run. Ask around locally, some collectors have a s**tpile of junkers setting around.
