Has anyone found an aftermarket supplier for square fenders like on a 3020? I've seen ones from tisco but the headlights don't mount level, one sets higher in the fender than the other one. Just wondering..... .thanks !!!!! :-)

Yes they did. The one I ordered was the flat top style with the recesses for mounting 2 headlights. The minor differences in construction I noticed were: originals have two angle iron type supports on the outside of the fender (side that faces the wheel) that the 4 mounting bolts go through. The reproductions have a heavy steel strap/bar. This strap/bar is not drilled and tapped for the wiring clamp. The sheet metal is mig welded to the fender supports instead of spot welded like the originals. There was also some minor grinding marks where they smoothed out the welds.

I had to drill the mounting holes for one of the headlights, the orange flasher, and the hole for the headlight wiring between the two headlight mount holes. I also drilled and tapped the mounting strap/bar so I could bolt on the wiring clamp like the original has (you could easily just use a tie wrap). The 4 mounting holes are already drilled and the grab handle hole is already there also.

Overall I think they are high quality. I have a original on the right and the repro on the left - they match well.

If you find a better price let me know.

Colin

TB

An ad in Green Mag has fenders for 2cylFor $385(i think per), which is close fit for a 3020 (you'll need to modify right fender for hand hole). The place is located in KS.

Deere has 2950 fenders, parts just told me $460per. Bill
