ON MY 64 3020 GAS THE NEEDLE AND SEAT HAS BEEN STICKING SOMETIMES DRIPING GAS FROM THE CARB. I TOOK THE CARB APART AND NO DIRT INSIDE EVERTHING LOOKS REAL CLEAN NO GUM OR VARNISH. I TRIED TO GET A CARB KIT FOR IT BUT ITS NOT LISTED IN STANDARD HYGRADE AT PARTS STORES ITS A ZENITH CARB. CAN I JUST GET A NEW NEEDLE@SEAT FOR IT?? IS THIS COMMON FOR THIS CARB STYLE??

I had the same thing happen to my 3010 with a Zenith Carb. Took it apart, found nothing wrong, put it back together and it's been running ever since. You may want to try that.

AFTER SOAKING THE CARB IN CARB CLEANER FOR 24 HRS I FOUND A SMALL HAIR LINE CRACK IN THE FLOAT BOWL THAT EXTENDS DOWN 3/8 OF A INCH. LOOKS LIKE THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS TAPPING ON IT TO GET THE FLOAT TO STOP STICKING LOTS OF MARKS ON THE SIDE. I AM THINKING ABOUT JB WELDING THE CRACK. ANYONE GOT A BETTER IDEA. DOES ANY ONE HAVE A BOTTOM HALF FOR A ZENITH CARB THEY WOULD GET RID OF??
