Looking at buying a used 8650 JD with 6000hrs. Tractor has a brand new, not recon., factory JD head. It is in showroom condition. Previous owner had zero trouble other than an alternator and AC compressor. It was a one owner machine. All comments about the 8650 would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 1977 8630 that has 5300hrs. on it. If you have never owned a 4wd they are a lot more expensive than a 2wd to work on. Check if the previous owner has ever had the pump turned up on the tractor if it has been watch out because 6000hrs is in over time on a 619ci engine. If you buy it you will love it just change oil every 100 hrs and don't turn the pump up.

Have an 8640 with 2390 hours, I bought new,going
to trade or sell,rented my ground don't need anymore.Been looking at a new 6410 mfwd.
