If a modest amount of front weight is required ballast the tires themselves, instead of the chassis. This reduces steering/suspension stress. Combine rear wheel weights bolt onto/into the rims. Windshield washer fluid in the tubes up to 1/3 to 1/2 fill if required. The ride will get rough if the tires are more than 1/3 full & overinflated . Do your self and tractor a favor and pass by the equipment wrecking calcuim chloride.

Yeh it sounds like you could use alittle weight up front. For that tractor a single starter plate, the side rales, and one or two of the the 80 pound front weights ought to surfice. If you have a rollomatic Front, I wouldn't weight it down excessively. If you have a wide front end, it shouldn't matter so much. I'd just hate to see you have alot of weight on the front be hogging in your feild, and run your rollomatic down in a groundhog hole, and snap it off. you should be able to get the weight set up you need for around 70-80 dollars, if you can find a dealership or salvage yard that has them.
