I have a 1970 model 3020 that needs a block. I have a friend that owns a older 3020, and he said he bought a model 400 backhoe for the engine. I am wandering if there are different pieces of equipment made by John Deere with a engine that will fit my tractor. The engine type is M13RO.The serial # of the engine is <125364R>. Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks; Barney

jd used that basic tractor to biuld the 500,510
and 510A back hoes.good luck

P.S. thay even made a proto type crawer out of one
and i would sure like to see it.from the pic it did look cool
