Radiator

The parts manual in the Cooling System section for my 1950 Model B identifies CAP SCREWS AND MACHINE BOLTS. Are Cap Screws hex head bolts and are Machine Bolts square head bolts? I suspect this is a "dumb question" but one that I don't know.

Although I'm not concerned about the Correct Police, I would like the RADIATOR bolts/nuts on my "B" as accurate as possible. Were the following bolts HEX or SQUARE HEAD?

-- 3/8 X 1 1/8" (6 used) Machine Bolts - Page 54 in Parts Manual, Key 28 - holds sides to top and bottom tank. Hex or square head?

-- 7/16 X 1 1/2" (8 used) Cap Screws - Page 54, Key 30 - holds sides to top and bottom tank. Hex or square head?

-- 3/8 X 1" (4 used) Cap Screws - Page 54, Key 33 - holds radiator (bottom tank) on frame. Hex or square head?

-- 3/8 nuts (4 used)- Page 54, Key 35 Fan Shroud to radiator sides. Hex or square?

The answer to your ?? on square or round, machine or cap....

The shape of the head doesn't determine whether its a cap or machine screw. the engineering difference I don't have, but I think the machine screws are general purpose and tend to offer smaller sizes. I'll have to check a book on this.
