Everyone please read the sequence of posts to the topic "Loss of Power On Model A Part 2". There is a person who, I do not know that is very rude and afraid to post their name or their email address with their slanderish post of JohnT. No body will ever know who they are besides Kim. But I just want everyone to read what He/She/It has to say about JohnT and what I had to say in response. This person needs to have some consideration for others. We will never be able to do anything about it, but it just burns me up. Just wondering how some of you others feel about this. Sorry, but I had to vent. Bill {Antique Acres}

I read a posting not to long ago regarding Deere and their high prices for the new 1950's facility. Some jerk by the name of Doug voiced his rather butt backwards opinion just like this other bung hole did when referring to Mr. John T. I can except these responses because of a very serious medical condition that these folks have. If you look up in medical journal for the sometimes fatal condition called littlest-penis-of-them-all. Symptoms are sometimes associated with opinionated, loud, obnoxious comments that most people feel are just down right dumb. The only know cure for this condition is a royal a$$ beating either behind the barn or on a tractor pulling track. (I heard a shovel works wonders for those in the late stages of this illness)

On top of the condition you diagnosed, he could also be suffering from rectal cranialitis. Also known as having his head up his a$$. Maybe we should pity this poor jerk. I'm sure the view is lousy.

Dear Bill and others, Thanks for your support. I kind of ignored that post figuring some poor guy who is afraid to post his name just had a bad day, or it may be a buddy playing a trick on us all?? My sympathy and best wishes go out to him over these Christmas Holidays, regardless. You know, we are all entitled to our opinions in this country, right or wrong, and thats why my father (who is now dead and fought in the Battle of the Bulge) like so many veterans went to war to protect our freedoms. I will never forget when I was younger how my grandfather and uncles and many older gentlemen and good ol boys helped and assisted and educated me when I was learning mechanics and tractors and electricity and so many other of lifes lessons. There was never a charge and I kind of figure now its payback time and why I enjoy spending so many hours helping others, again at no charge, but just for the satisfaction of helping other people. I learn alot on here and when I can help others I enjoy it. If we dont like the board or answers or another person, we have the freedom NOT to read this stuff, and likewise, we have the freedom to participate and ask and answer questions. So, thanks to all you guys for your support and lets exercise our freedom to read and ask and answer questions and help others, regardless if some people dont like our willingness to lend a hand. Thanks again guys!!! John "T" Nordhoff [email protected]

Bill, I agree. That nonesence burns me too. John T is a gentleman and some people out there should remember that, the advice is free and helpful, and thank God that most tractor folks are solid people.And John T don't take that bonehead too seriously.

Bill,
I can appreciate your anger and frustration over this kind of thing. I am sure you know by now that even though the majority of us are decent people, it is hard to avoid the odd ashhole in the bunch. There is always someone who didn't get enough attention from their mommy (or maybe got too much!), or who had a rough life and just couldn't cope, or didn't get promoted at work when the deserved to, who was the last one selected when chosing up sides for a ball game, or got picked on when they were growing up, or never were comfortable around girls, or had some other problem that created some disappointment in their sad lives.
For those people, even a simple thing like this forum for discussing vintage tractors seems to trigger resentment for the injustices that they have had to endure in their pathetic lives. You find these people everywhere, unfortunately: at work, at Little League baseball games, town meetings, and even at church. Fortunately they are not large in number, but their behavior is so aberrant that it is unsettling for the rest of us, who are able to ask and respond to simple questions about topics that we have a mutual interest in without exhibting the same antisocial behavior.
I commend you for supporting John T, who is an invaluable resource for all who particpate on the bulletin board, but it is likely that your support and my response may add fuel to the fire. The best way to handle similar incidents in the future may be to ignore them.

Respectfully.
Gary

Guy can't even leave his name...speaks volumes. Anyway, JohnT is one of the people whose responses I always read because they are informative.

I,for one look for JohnT's responses because I actually learn something, and thats not discrediting anyone else. I think we all have to chuckle and let things pass.
