In reading the shots fired back and forth (scroll on down to the bottom of page 2) about the John Deere Collector's Center, I really get nostalgic for the good ol' days of 20 or so years ago, when CB radio was in its prime.

Some of the comments posted there sound just like the "I'm gonna whup yo' a_ _" remarks you used to hear on CB, when everyone was danged sure that the object of their anger was well out of reach and there was no danger of getting whupped in return.

Well, folks, I'm disappointed (but not surprised) at the responses to my original comment. I put a semi-humorous comment on here and it turned into a "bashing" forum.

Oh, well, I guess we are all too serious about ourselves these days.

Ah the good 'ole days....seems on the CB both parties would be aching to meet each other but neither one would say where. Same as on these posts some of the postings are obvious just postings to try to get somebody riled up. Myself I am tired of hearing about it along with Dennis Polk's outrageous prices...etc. (not trying to start a conversation about Dennis so please don't start one). Its almost to a point where I would rather listen to Dan Rather on TV talk about this Florida mumbo jumbo than read some of these hate and discontent comments!!!!! ! Lets have fun !!! :-)

I can`t believe that the term "Greedy Idiot" hasn`t included a Nick Dengler comment. Or did that just happen?

Switch to Fox and listen to O'Reiley instead.
