I'm posting this message for a neighbor. We're trying to find a source for correct decal placement on this tractor (1952 John Deere B). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ray

I bought a book from Motorbook International called the JD Model B Restoration Guide. It is very thorough in its attention to "correct" detail. Its about $20. If you click the TractorLinks.com at the lower left of your screen on this site and hit the John Deere path on the next screen, the first link on the list is "Antique John Deere Tracors". There is a picture of the book on his homepage.

The "John Deere" decal on the hood should be placed in the forward position, which is about 2 inches back from the edge of the grill. The round "B" decal should be placed the same distance forward from the back edge of the grill.

Good luck,

Green
