Ben,
Tom's answer was a little "blunt", I guess, but I can understand what he means. Usually people ask that question before they buy the tractor. I am assuming you are just getting into this, and are also unfamiliar with the information available at this site. to the left you will see headings in blue letters. Click on "classified ads" and you may find a tractor like yours listed. Someone may also reply to your request here. You can also try "Rummy's John Deere Bulletin Board."
There are a lot of veriables that determine how much a tractor, (or anything else, for that matter) is worth. One of the most important things is how badly the guy buying the item wants it. Other important considerations are 1) what part of the country are you from (costs vary a lot from one part of the country to another) 2) condition of the tractor, (is it running, is the sheet metal good, does it have any unique features or options, and 3) how much is your wife going to let you spend! (We can't help you with that one!)
Anyway, I am involved with the earlier models (letter series) and can't help you much, but perhaps if you re-post and include some of the above details, you might get a rough idea of what kind of a deal you swung.
In the future, don't be afraid to come to this site for help, there is a lot of good infromation here!

Doesn't make any difference now,That's a question
you ask before, not after a purchase.
