Will, it sounds like the reservoir is too small to hold all the oil from the loader cylinders, you will probably have to find a way to install an extra reservoir to hold the extra oil. You might be able to plumb it in where the test petcock is or add it on to the side of the front cover.

Will, I guess I should have asked the obvious, does it have the cap on the filler pipe?

YES THE PIPE HAS A CAP ON IT. I DONT REMEMBER THE TRACTOR DOING THIS LAST YEAR. I REMOVED THE LOADER AND REBILT THE ENGINE THIS SUMMER. I PUT THE LOADER BACK ON, ADD NEW HDY OIL. I WAS MAKING THE LOADER GO UP AND DOWN AND ADDING OIL SO IT WOULD RISE UP ALL THE WAY. I REMOVED THE CAP BECAUSE OIL WAS LEAKING OUT OF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE LIFTING ARMS ON BACK OF THE TRACTOR BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM. DO YOU THINK THAT I MIGHT HAVE AIR TRAPED IN IT? I SEE THEM PLUGS ON THE BACK. IT HAS A LARGE PLUG,A PET COCK, AND A SMALL ONE ON BOTTOM. THE ONE ON TOP ON THE BACK IS 1/2 INCH OR 3/8. IF I HAVE TO PUT A TANK ON, IM THINKING OF PUTTING IT ON THE BACK AND RUNNING OIL IN TOP FROM THE 1/2 PLUG HOLE AND THEN OUT THE BOTTOM IN THE 1/4 AT THE BOTTOM OF SYSTEM. WHAT DO YOU THINK AND THANKS FOR YOUR HELP CLOONEY. WILL
