I have a B which the hyd weren't working working. Tore it apart replaced couple of bearings as the pto wouldn't work, now the pto works and still no hyd found that it had been equipted will live hyd and you need to remove pump gear for that to work. Got the gear installed it and still nothing but when engaging the clutch with pto engaged motor works very hard.

Yep, Cloony is right, pull the Power-Trol or Power-lift housing and remove that block off plate!!!!! !!!! The oil has nowhere to go and will build up unlimited pressure and break something.

Ken, I have never installed one of those live hydraulic kits but if I remember right they used a spacer plate between two gaskets to block off oil flow between the power-trol housing & the rockshaft housing. If there is a steel plate between two gaskets that goes between the power-trol housing & rockshaft housing remove it & just use one gasket. If there is no plate make sure that the left square hole isn't plugged off somehow. Re-post with what you find wrong so we can all learn.

Many thanks to clooney and Craig the information was exactly on the nose. There was a steel plate between two gaskets that blocked off left square port. I now have hydraulics and the rocker shafts even work! Thanks so much. Ken
