Good news/Bad news. I'm making some head way with this ongoing project thanks to the help from this forum. I was finally able to loosen the wedge, thought I was home free but now I can't turn the pinion shaft, even after two days of WD-40. I talked to the previous owner and he said "I remember we had a hard time moving that one wheel, I think we used a skid-steer loader to push on it" so who knows?? As a last resort, I should be able to remove the plug and drive out the pinion shaft. Then pull the wheel off and start over with a new shaft?? Any Other ideas?? I did get the other side to move just fine. Why can't people take the time and do things right??

Remove the wedge completly with the rack up and a dolly under the wheel. lower the tractor until the pinion gear is clear of the rack then move the wheel
