Gentlemen, I am trying to sell my Dad's 1962 3010 diesel row-crop. This is one very nice tractor. Following are some of the features it has. Can anyone give me an idea what this tractor might be worth? It has a JD 148 loader with a 5' and 8' buckets and joystick control (loader new in 1988), completely rebuilt Cozy Cab w/heater, overhauled with 3020 pistons and sleeves, new style glass fuel filter, new hydraulic pump in 1998, wide front, 24v to 12v starting system and alternator conversion, front weights and fluid ballast in rear tires. Also, I installed 6 headlights, 2 tailights, 2 red lights and warning flashers on the cab roof and fenders when I rebuilt it. The tractor has 3705 hours on it but the engine has very few hours on since the overhaul. The tractor has not been repainted but looks very nice for it's age. Thank you very much, I look forward to your replies. PS I would buy this tractor myself but since I now live in town, I have no place to use or store it. Al

I agree with Twopop. I just bought a 3010 gas, no cab, rebuilt engine last year for $5800. Got a (well) used 148 loader at a dealer for $2400. Could have got a 3020D with a Wagner loader, no cab, for $10K at a local dealer. He had put brand new loaders and WFs on two of these and sold them both for what he was asking.

Loader will do around 3000.00, tractor probably
5500-6500.A 3020 probably 1000 more with wide
front. At a farm sale no telling.
