A friend of mine has a JD H and is in need of
a fuel line that goes between the fuel tank and
the sediment bowl. His line is bad and leaks at the fittings. He says they're a special thread.
Thanks.

Karl,
They're not a special thread, but the fitting
swaged onto the line has a particular bevel that
seems to be unavailable. My JD dealer says the line for my "70" is no longer available.
The nipples that these beveled fittings screws
onto can be replaced with more modern style
fittings that will accept the standard fuel line
available at your local auto parts store.

try www.oldjd4u.com or your local JD dealer.

Hope this helps!

Karl
