My 4020 seems to be missing badly, Please give me some Idea where to start trying to find a solution to my problem

OF COSE CHEKE THE FUEL AND AIR FILTER THAN CHECK THE INJ. GET A 9\16 AND 3\4 WRINCH AND CRACK THE FUEL LINE AT THE INJS.IF IT GETS WORSE TIGHTEN IT UP AND THAN GO TOO THE NEEX ONE UN TILL YOU FIND ONE THAT DOSE NOT CHANG THE SOUND (BINGO BAD INJ) ROBERT

Once you know you have free flow of air and fuel you then go and check your valve adjustment.

Gas or diesel. Clean unrestricted airflow, clean fresh fuel? Rough running suddenly or gradual?

Diesel pretty sudden
Get worse when warms up

It could be the fuel pump.

Change the fuel filter first, could be water in fuel. I usually start simple.
