Finally got my B completed. Thanks for all who helped. Last night I hooked up a 12V regulator to the 6V generator as recommended by someone some time ago, John T I believe. Sure enough, it charges at the 12V rate! Saved me the cost of a 12V generator. The B3 Two Way Plow lends some extra interest to the tractor. Now it's time to get serious with my 1947 A. Everything's done on it but the final paint and stencils. Later.

Excellent job!!!! Now all you have to do is get those moldboards scoured and it will look perfect!! LOL!!! I never saw a painted moldboard - just shiny or greased up for storage. On the other hand, I don't think I ever saw a new plow, either.

Super tractor - reminds me of our '52 B, my all-time favorite!!

What? Scrape up my paint and get dirt on the tractor? Since this is used as my "mail gettin machine" (1.5 miles round trip),and the wife would frown on my using her lawn to scour the moldboard, and if it was polished and greased the grandkids would have grease everywhere, guess the paint will have to stay.

You have a lot of reasons for leaving the paint on the moldboards - works for me!!

Very nice! I wished my 51' A looked so good... Oh well, it will give me something to work on next year. I like the plow feature.
