Help! My 2240 just had a compleat going over only 22 hours ago. Just today I notied oil or fuel pouring out of the engine vent tube onto the ground. After reving the engine and idleing down the oil or fuel would pour out. It looks to light to be engine oil so it must be fuel or a mix. What is going on??? Is this fuel?

I must have run the tractor for about half a hour before I saw it. Is my engine shot? Please advise. Thank you, Steve

main cause for fuel in oil is the lift pump.check it out first if you do have fuel in oil(extra 'oil' on the dipstick).

Check the engine oil level to see if it has gone up and has fuel in it. There is a seal on the injection pump drive that may be leaking or a bad injector if it has a miss.

Check the oil to see if it's over full. Also don't run it any more til you find out for sure what it is Let us know what you find
