Wrong Clutch Lever on 1950 B

Today, I was working on adjusting the clutch on my 1950 "B" - Serial # 270162. By chance I happened to check the clutch lever part number and realized that the lever is the wrong one for my tractor.

The part number on the wrong lever is B2782R. The correct number is AB3967R.

Any idea which tractor the lever (B2782R) belongs on? The number is not included in my parts manual (PC330).

The incorrect lever has a bend near the base (near the pivot bore). It bends outward to the right (while sitting on the tractor).

I have a new bushing in the lever and had the egg-shaped holes (from wear) drilled and a new pin turned.

If anyone can identify the clutch lever and the model for which it is intended, please let me know.

Any suggestions? If I want an accurate restoration, I should probably replace the lever.

I can not find my B parts book right now to verify this but the lever itself will have the B2782 number. Once JD installed the bushing in it it now is called by the AB number (assembly of parts for B tractor).

If possible, get a copy of Green Magazine a month or three ago and read Greg Stephens article about JD part numbers. From what I remember, he was saying that a part number that started with a single letter was a single part only, but if it started with AB, or AA, it would be an assembly of parts.
