When i go to start my 1959,530 sometimes the
starter just clicks. If i push the button several
times it will start right up.It might start good
for a week, and then you have to keep hitting the
starter button over and over again.I've tried
jumping it at the starter, but it doesn't make any difference. Thanks

Ray, my opinion, in order of likelihood, the problems are: Loose or corroded/carboned up battery or ground connections, loose or carboned up connections at the solenloid or starter, bad/loose/carboned battery cable ends, bad solenoid, bad battery, bad contacts on the starter switch, and only after all that a bad starter (brushes worn etc.). Sounds like a bad battery or bad connection between the battery or starter. A dead cell in the battery will make it act that way.
