Was looking around on the net and found the pipe only from K & K. I know that the whole assembly is not available from Deere any more. Question is, how difficult is the replacement to do? The weld looks pretty substantial and I don't think it would be easy to do. Is there someone out there who will take the old casting as a core and supply a reconditioned one? Any help will be appreciated.

They are readily available used. Check Ebay, I have gotten one on there before. I know a guy with a salvage yard with at least 20 B's. I am still at the hospital and won't be home until Wednesday. I will get you his number then if you want. Bill {Antique Acres}

Wind the upper water pipe isn't to difficult to replace,take a torch and heat casting around were tube goes in and remove old tube it is brazed in so it will be fairly easy to melt braze. After you get old tube out take a bur gtinder and clean both matting surfaces real shiny,slip tube in to casting an bolt up to tractor so yoy can get proper alignment of tube to radiator tach weld it and remove from tractor an braze upper water tube in place,remember when brazing mateing surfaces need to be very clean. Ron Stephens in Dunkerton ,Iowa did have some of these assemblies,drop mhim a line he doesn't have a phone. Gman

I agree. Do it yourself. I had good results on my first attempt. It isn't difficult. Plenty of heat and a nice clean surface.
