I have a wiring diagram in front of me, and a 45 LA in the barn. Little hard to explain, but if you would like to give me a call, I'ld be glad to walk you through it.

Mel, I will look this PM to see if I have a wirign diagram to e mail you. However, out of factory it was a positive ground system meaning the battery + goes to ground while the - goes to the starter. If it has a true magneto, a wire out of it serves as a kill switch which kills the mag if connected to ground. John T
