I'm still looking for help in replacing my 70D differential. It would not come out according to the shop manual and I&T instructions (or any other way). I finally cut the ring gear since it had broken teeth anyway, and pushed it aside. Then the assembly would come out.
But now I am trying to put the new one in, and it will not clear all sides (especially the PTO bearing "shelf" inside the main case) no matter what angle or direction I take. Can anyone help?

Charles getting that differintal in is a bogger,I took the one out of my seventy 70 Lp,as well as I can remember I leaned differential over on the side with the left bearing facing seven o'clock and just kept working with it till it went in. I worked for two hours trying to get it out, leaned back on my five gallon bucket and the darn thing rolled out and just missed my foot, but the left bearing was leaning to the seven o'clock position. Don't give up it will go,if your patience wear short take a die grinder and cut some of the place it seems to be hanging.Turn you transmission slightly see if that don't help, wish I could come and help they are a real challenge. Good luck Garland
