510 Hydraulic problem

Is there any way for hydraulic oil from a 510 to leak internally and if so where? I am continually adding hydraulic oil but no visible external leaks. Level on the engine oil dipstick is up a bit but that could be from a small internal water leak. Also, would it do any damage to leave the rad cap on loose(first catch) so the water pressure doesn't build up and cause more water to get into the oil. I took the head off recently and noticed one corner of the head gasket was wet. Changed the gasket and it was OK for a couple of days, then water in the oil again. Warped head? Any ideas?

when you had the head off did you notice any verticle gray lines/scores in the cylinder liners ??? I would bet that one or more has become porous and is the source of the water...common occurence with a combination of age and junky anti-freeze...if you remove the oil pan and pressurize the cooling system with a pressure tester you should see water leaking down from between the piston and liner....it usually drips on your drop light and makes the bulb explode !!! ...is there oil in the radiator too ??? can go either way or both depending on the location of the pin holes in the liners.... the transmission and rear end and hydraulics share the same oil so I cant imagine where the oil is going....except for a leak to mother earth....

If you put hyrdrulic fluid in just back of and under the set then it my be like my 710, it has a plastic tank inside to hold the hyrdrulic fluid and it my be cracked like mind is the fluid go's into the rearend.
