Curious to know something about this tractor--why and how did this one come to have a name attached to it? I understand there were built between 43 and '47. Anyone have some idea on this?

Kohl: The Lindeman crawler was made by Lindeman Mfg. Inc. in Yakima, Washington. They purchased BO tractors an put the crawler ass'y on them. At first they puch. complete tractors, but later made a deal with Deere to buy just the part of the tractor they needed in a crate. There are also a few GPO crawlers around. In May 1945 John Deere puch. Lindeman and replaced it with the MC.
