JD faithful!! Greetings from a Case faithful. I work at a Case/IH dealership with a young man from a farm family who has been having problems with a 6620 sidehill. The thing loses whatever power steering it has, which is very poor at startup after a short warmup. Also the sidehill leveler will not work at all but it tries, if the bin is loaded some times it will work if the weight is assisting it when cold. The local JD dealer has had it and did not fix the problem, but says it is ok electrically. An inspection of the pump shows no apparent wear. Could it have a stuck flo divider? How does the system work? I have 38 yrs on Case stuff and an excellent grasp of concepts, but no experience on specific things on these machines. I don't believe that he is the first one to have this problem, that is seldom the case, and I told him that I would dump the problem out here where the most knowledge was. Thank all you in advance for your help. Mel. PS, any responses my be made to my Email if people object to this type of question on forum

theres a system relief valve ( I believe it is 2500 psi. on the right side of the valve as you look at it )in the main valve thats probably no good. There is a flow valve for the steering but the oil is probably getting to hot so nothing works . May need to check the system pressure.
