I am using a loader on a 4320, and of course I am having stress cracks on the 6 hole wheels, and sooner or later, I will break a spindle. I have gussetted the axle tube, but I want to go to an 8 hole hub, and to a heavier axle. I know that a 1370 Case will interchange, but what John Deere axles/bolster plates will interchange to get a heavier spindle and an 8 hole hub?
Thanks.

I have used a 148 loader on a 4320 for years and have been lucky...no problems so far. I put 11L-16 tires on it and I really think that helps cushion it. I have heard, and don't take this as the gospel, that a 4440 front axle will bolt right up. Check your Deere dealer (or as I do with one of the old mechanics in the shop). I imagine that these bring a hefty price, even in a junkyard.

I hope this helps. Have a nice day, Doug.
