3010 engine replacement

I have a 3010 Lp gas row-crop with the tri-cycle front end. If I were to start lookong for a diesel engine to replace this one with what tractor or combine engines would fit. I know the 3020 would work. But what are some other options that I could keep in mind?

I don't know man, that sounds like alot of work to me. I think if it were me, and especially if your LP was in real good shape, I'd try to find someone, or a dealer with a 3020D already on the lot and try to trade with them. It would be easier,and probably wouldn't cost much more by way of boot, than the conversion cost. That way a collectable New Generation tractor would be spared,and left original, plus you'd get your Diesel 3020 without all that pesky work. At any rate good luck. Greg H.
