How hard is it to rebuild a dual port quick connect remote? I have one on a JD 1020 that is leaking bad. It looks like this should be a simple job of just replacing o-rings, however, I have started simple jobs before that end up as major projects. Also, any rough idea what a rebuild kit for one of these cost?

Easy to do.You need a good o-ring pick.Drill a hole or drive a small hole in the two welch plugs underneath so that you can pry them out. Then remove the levers and everything will then slide out. Sand the small diameter of each barrel with 400 grit-if rusty or pitted you'll have to replace or they will continue to leak.
