Finally got my "basket case B" to the point of staring her up, but it wouldn't hit more than a couple of times. Looked like the carb was overflowing, so I put a fresh "A" carb I had on hand. The B ran like a champ. The A is 46 All Fuel, and the B was a late model gas tractor. Has anyone ever messed with swapping carbs around for greater performance, or pulling?

Hasn't ran much in several years, but my '35 B has an A carb. on it. Looking forward to getting her fired this summer with a fresh bore and new pistons. Not looking for a lot of power, but more won't hurt. Dad replaced the original carb when the other cracked.

I have a G with an A carb on it. It runs OK but doesn't have the snot the other G with correct carb has. I wouldn't to use it much, but it does keep it mobil at least. Mike
