On two occasions I have seen these advertised. Do any of you have any info, particularly pictures you could email me? Thanks!

A South American aftermarket company made and sold foot cluch assemblies for the 730. Since Deere made 730 diesels until 1970 in Argentina they sold quite a few there. A few have made it to the USA on imported 730s in the last few years. I would like to find one of these if any are for sale.

The only way I know how to convert over to a foot clutch is to trade your tractor for a 3010 or 4010 or newer tractor.

Seen 'em!

They were a heel-and-toe apparatus the operated the clutch using the right foot; push with the toe to engage, with the heel to disengage. Dunno if they were a factory option or aftermarket, it's been a long time; the one or two I saw were on tractors in current production.

Are you sure you weren't looking at a PTO clutch pedal on a 20 or 30 series? They're a 2-way pedal like you describe...

No, I'm not sure, now that you mention the PTO clutch pedals. That's probably what I remembered. It's only been about 35 years.
