To the folks who send me ideas with my hand start problem. I had a hard time turning the hand start flywheel it turned half a turn then jamed up.I got a lot of ideas from you fellers from sticking valves to a jamed oil pump..I pulled the spark plugs and dumped WD-40 into the engine then I welded two inch and a quarter pipes on a steel bar about 3 feet long and used that for leverage and using that home made tool put it on the hand start flywheel which has two holes in it and with just a little effert the flywheel turned with no problem now its nice a free..gess the pistons were just stuck a bit and needed a bit more pressure to get them un-stuck..Thanks

Ron, Please check your fuel shut off valve. As I said the fuel can leak into the Cyl. and cause this problem. The Gas will wash the oil off of the pistons and it will stick again. Yours like I told you before is not the first Deere I have seen do this. Remember what you did to the B to get it to roll over. If you put some oil in the Cyl. and let it set for 10 min. usually it will turn over with out the extra help. I am glad you got it to run without any more expense.
