I would like to know the reputation of the 430 Crawler, how is the maintenance on this model? Is there any prone problems to this model? How good does the 430C work with a front blade? How about pulling? Does this model have a 540 PTO?

The 430C is essentially the same as the 420C, just the dash and tin are different. Maintenance is fairly simple, not much more than proper lubrication. They are capable of massive amounts of work with a front blade. It'll take longer than with a large machine, but you can do any dozer task with one. They'll out pull a full size wheel tractor (like a 730) since they have greater traction. There is a 540 RPM PTO option, which most machines had (although, since it was an option, you can find units that don't have it. It's easy to add, though).

I have a 420C with 62 front blade that was my dad's. We've had it since 1964 and there is nothing out there on the current market that is as versatile. I also had a JD350, which is larger, and the 420C was always more useful.
