I looking for a complete Gauge wheel assembly for a JD 812 plow. It consists of a steel wheel with round spokes with axle mounted to an offset adjustable vertical bar for mounting to plow beam. Want to use a JD 812 plow with JD 800 series hitch on JD 50 so need gauge wheel on plow to control depth. Anyone have a parts plow with this on it or suggest a location where I might find one? Thanks

We had the same problem when using a JD F125 plow on a 60 with 800 series hitch. If you have the bracket on your plow where the gauge wheel goes you are in good shape. Just go to a trailer supply house and get a 4.00 X 12 tire, wheel, hub and spindle assembly. Find a two foot long piece of bar stock that will slide into the bracket, weld the spindle to it,drill holes in the bar stock for adjustment and you are all set. On the F125 we used the stand bracket which is the same as the gauge wheel bracket. It is not original but will work well. Don't forget to paint the wheel JD yellow for the finishing touch!

Thanks for the tip Curt but I found a complete 812 Gauge Wheel assembly on rubber in PA. It's on its way via UPS. Thanks.
