Took the pan off last nite, not the balancer, crank is cracked. Anybody got a good used one?

I just got an aftermarket crank for a 3010 diesel for one of the guys in the shop. It was brand new and top quality. I think you can buy them for around $1200.00.

Red-a 3010 uses the same crank as the early 3020, & they're almost nonexistent as good used ones. JD has them for a hellish price, or there is an aftermarket crank-Abilene Machine has them, & I think CT-Country General also. I literally searched the world for these twice a couple years ago, ended up using the aftermarket, which seems to be perfectly good. I guess you mean the crank is broken, & not just cracked since it it making a noise. HTH, Ron.

I looked for a crankshaft for over two and half years before I found a used one.
When you go back together make shure you get the line bore checked on the block , and resize the bottom ends on the rods .
