4040 electrical problems.

Having trouble with my tractor. Looking for wiring diagrams for my tractor to troubleshoot problems. I'm just too damn cheap to buy the manual. Any advice or websites with diagrams free would be appreciated.

Tony, Don't know of anything on the web for actual wiring diagrams. Just what is your problem with your tractor? There is alot of sharpe people who are willing to share there knoledge that post on this page. I personelly cut my teeth on 30, 40 and 50 series John Deere tractors in the dealerships over the years and haven't seen a electrical system that I couldn't fix (Yet!!) Give us a shot and you might be suprised what free information that you will recieve. The electrical systems on these tractors are a piece of cake compared to what I write diagnostic procedures for today, 6, 7, 8 and 9000 series John Deere tractors. Good Luck, Dave
